As a 3D modeler, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models using Autodesk Alias software. You will work closely with mechanical designers to ensure that models accurately reflect the design intent while meeting specifications and technical requirements. This role requires a strong background in industrial design, a mastery of Alias (Autodesk), and a passion for modeling.Your responsibilities will be: * 3D model development: Create 3D models from sketch modeling to Class A surfaces. * 3D Presentations: Manage the 3D model in technical and weekly meetings to support the design team. * Technical Competence: Understand and work with technical data. * Timely Delivery: Ensure deliverables are completed on time to support project milestones. * Collaborative modeling: Work with the designer and engineers to model the entire visible surface of a train. * Volume and interface compliance: Verify the compliance of allocated volumes, interfaces, and designer sketches. * Model consistency and storage: Ensure the consistency of the digital model and the appropriate storage in the database. * Progress reports: Inform the progress of 3D modeling activities, anticipate potential issues, and provide alerts when needed.Desired experience: * Strong understanding of the principles of industrial design. * At least 6 years of relevant work experience. * Knowledge of industrialization processes in product development. * Proficiency in design tools: Expertise in design and modeling software, Autodesk ALIAS Surface.### Qualifications * Strong commitment to teamwork with a focus on achieving results. * Ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, and respond effectively to challenges. * A real enthusiasm for design * English Fluency: Professional-level proficiency in written and spoken English. * Ability to work independently, leveraging design knowledge, precedents, and judgment according to established procedures and methods. * Open to Canadian residents & U.S. citizens able to work in Canada
