SoftwareOne and Crayon are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to lead their AWS team in a Senior Consultant capacity. This strategic role involves designing, migrating, and optimizing enterprise-scale AWS solutions for complex projects. The architect will provide technical vision, ensure alignment with business objectives, and leverage deep expertise in AWS technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions, while also mentoring junior team members and enforcing best practices.

Must Have

• Architect end-to-end AWS solutions following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead large-scale AWS migrations using Terraform and AWS migration tools.
• Design and integrate AWS Connect for omnichannel contact centers with AI/ML services.
• Manage multi-account setups, landing zones, and automation with AWS Control Tower.
• Oversee network architectures and database strategies for hybrid environments.
• Mentor junior team members and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct cost optimization, disaster recovery planning, and Well-Architected Framework Reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, IAM policies, encryption, and governance frameworks.
• 10+ years in cloud architecture, 7+ years specializing in AWS.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS migrations (lift-and-shift, refactor, and rearchitect).
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform.
• Extensive experience with AWS Connect.
• Deep infrastructure knowledge (compute, storage, networking, databases, multi-account setups, security).
• AWS Solution Architect – Professional level certification (Mandatory).
• Terraform Associate certification (Mandatory).

This is a strategic leadership role where you will design, migrate, and optimize enterprise-scale AWS solutions for complex projects. You will provide technical vision, ensure alignment with business objectives, and leverage deep expertise in AWS technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end AWS solutions across compute, storage, networking, databases, and analytics following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead large-scale AWS migrations using Terraform and AWS migration tools (Migration Hub, CloudEndure, DataSync).
• Design and integrate AWS Connect for omnichannel contact centers with AI/ML services (Lex, Comprehend).
• Manage multi-account setups, landing zones, and automation with AWS Control Tower.
• Oversee network architectures (VPCs, Transit Gateways) and database strategies (RDS, DynamoDB) for hybrid environments.
• Mentor junior team members, review Terraform modules, and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct cost optimization, disaster recovery planning, and Well-Architected Framework Reviews.
• Stay ahead of AWS innovations and contribute to proposals involving AI, IoT, and edge computing.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, IAM policies, encryption, and governance frameworks.

What we need to see from you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with experience in the relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 7 years specializing in AWS.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS migrations, including lift-and-shift, refactor, and rearchitect approaches for mission-critical applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, including complex modules, providers, and integration with AWS services for automated deployments.
• Extensive experience with AWS Connect, from architecture design to integration with CRM systems and analytics tools.
• Deep infrastructure knowledge, encompassing compute, storage, networking (e.g., Direct Connect, Global Accelerator), database management (e.g., multi-AZ deployments, read replicas), multi-account setups, AWS organizations, Control Tower and security (IAM, encryption, logging, Governance & Compliance)
• Certifications:
• AWS Solution Architect – Professional level (Mandatory)
• Terraform Associate certification (Mandatory)
