Job Description
Character Animators (Senior, Mid & Junior) needed for a stop-motion style TV special for the BBC. The project is a fixed-term contract running from February 1st, 2025 to June 30th, 2025. The role is remote-friendly, with a preference given to South African applicants. Applicants must clearly specify the level (Senior, Mid, or Junior) they are applying for. Responsibilities will include creating compelling character animation within the stop-motion style for the TV special. Specific tasks will vary based on experience level.
Must have:
- Experience in character animation
- Stop motion animation skills
- Proficiency in relevant software
- Ability to meet deadlines
Good to have:
- Experience working with the BBC
- Experience in a similar project
