Cloud Application Test Engineer

Collaborate closely with Cloud Application Development teams to understand product features and technical implementation. Define, develop, and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments. Design, execute, and automate test cases based on gathered requirements to ensure the software meets business needs. Identify, analyze, and report software defects. Perform API Testing, load testing, performance testing, and security testing of our cloud application. Work on continuous testing in CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) testing. Participate in all phases of the development cycle.

Must Have

• Proven experience in testing cloud-based applications
• Knowledge of agile, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of Python, Javascript, Angular, C# or other languages used for scripting
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (e.g., Azure Devops, Github Action, Docker etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with performance and/or security testing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate closely with the Cloud Application Development teams to understand product features and technical implementation - including topology/ infrastructure/ test environment deployment
• Define, develop, and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
• Design, execute, and automate test cases based on gathered requirements to ensure the software meets business needs.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects, using a bug tracking system.
• Perform API Testing, load testing, performance testing, and security testing of our cloud application.
• Work on continuous testing in CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) testing.
• Participate in all phases of the development cycle, providing input on software/functionality design.

Basic Requirements

• Fresh graduates or 1 - 3 years working experience.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in testing cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of agile, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of Python, Javascript, Angular, C# or other languages used for scripting.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (e.g.,Azure Devops, Github Action, Docker etc).
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
