Must Have
- Collect and handle waste according to procedures and instructions.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle daily, including cleanliness of cabin and chassis.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and safety devices.
- Inform hierarchy of any vehicle malfunctions.
- Comply with weighing rules according to activity sites.
- Complete tour sheets (paper and on phone).
- Report any anomalies encountered during collection (e.g., damaged bins, unauthorized waste, client requests).
- Respect safety instructions, especially during material use and emptying at treatment centers.
- Experience driving heavy goods vehicles (PL).
- Valid C driving license.
- FIMO or FCOS certification.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to use smartphones.
- Speak, understand, and speak French.
Good to Have
- Experience driving super heavy goods vehicles.
- EC driving license.
- ADR qualification or CACES depending on collected materials.

Job Description
The Recycling and Waste Recovery Activity of Veolia South-West Region is looking for a Collection Equipment Driver for its Business Services Division. Based in Migne Auxances, a collection agency for industrial waste and management of waste transfer stations (27 employees), and under the authority of the Operations Manager, your main missions will be the following:
- Ensure the collection and handling of waste in compliance with procedures and instructions.
- Immediately report to the qualified operations agent any tour that cannot be completed during the day.
- Be responsible for the proper execution of the service entrusted to him/her. Respect service instructions (collection plans, routes, schedules, tour sheet, etc.).
- Be responsible for the vehicle he/she drives: daily maintenance, upkeep, cleanliness of the cabin and chassis.
- Ensure the proper use of the equipment entrusted to him/her to optimize various maintenance costs and ensure the proper functioning of the safety devices of the equipment used.
- Inform hierarchy of any anomaly related to the vehicle's operation.
- In contact with clients, contribute by his/her appearance and behavior to the proper execution of the service.
- Inform the operations manager of any request for additional service from a client or prospect.
- Comply with weighing rules according to activity sites (badge management).
- Complete the paper and phone tour sheet.
- Indicate on his/her roadmap any anomaly encountered during collection:
- damage or poor appearance of bins or compactors,
- broken or too heavy containers,
- presence of unauthorized waste or near containers,
- client complaints or requests,
- and more generally, any problem encountered during the service.
- Enter quantitative pre-invoicing elements.
- Strictly comply with safety instructions, particularly when using equipment and when emptying at treatment centers, ensure compliance with safety instructions by collection team members.
Specifics:
- Working hours may be as follows depending on client requests: 05:00-12:30 / 12:30-20:00 / 07:00-16:00.
- Work may be done during the week and regularly on Saturdays and/or Sundays according to the established schedule.
- On-call duty on weekends.
Qualifications
Experience driving heavy goods vehicles (PL), experience on a super heavy goods vehicle would be a plus.
Skills required for this position:
- Road knowledge and knowledge of different types of waste.
- Valid C driving license (EC license would be a plus).
- FIMO or FCOS certification.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- ADR qualification according to collected materials or CACES depending on certain equipment.
- Ability to use smartphones.
- Speak, understand, and speak French.

Additional Information
Base salary: €2055 gross + 13th month + bonuses + allowances + health insurance and provident fund + CSE benefits + seniority valorization every 2 years.
