Job Description

We are looking for a Collections Officer for our Saint Pierre des Corps site. The role involves preparing monthly collection forecasts, ensuring optimized invoice transmission to clients, managing amicable collections and unpaid debts, clarifying payment blockages, participating in closing provisions, managing bank guarantees, and providing site and group reports. The officer is responsible for client account monitoring, client reminders, meeting deadlines, and complying with internal control rules (SOX).
Must Have:
  • Prepare monthly collection forecasts and have them validated by the financial director.
  • Ensure optimized transmission of invoices to clients (portal management, EDI, digitalization).
  • Manage amicable collections and unpaid debts with daily follow-up until settlement.
  • Clarify reasons for payment blockages and follow up on actions to resolve disputes.
  • Participate in closing provisions validated with the Accounting Manager.
  • Manage bank guarantees and follow up on sureties with banking institutions.
  • Independently complete site and group reports within deadlines.
  • Be the primary contact between client accounting and the company.
  • Ensure proper monitoring of client accounts.
  • Responsible for client reminders.
  • Respect deadlines.
  • Comply with internal control rules (SOX).

We are looking for a Collections Officer (H/F) for our Saint Pierre des Corps site.

Activity Description:

  • Based on information from the ERP or other company services, prepare monthly collection forecasts and have them validated by the financial director. In case of discrepancies between forecast and actual, be able to explain them.
  • Ensure optimized transmission of invoices to our clients (portal management, EDI, digitalization).
  • Manage amicable collections and unpaid debts through daily follow-up until settlement. If necessary, clarify the reasons for any payment blockages and monitor actions to resolve disputes.
  • Participate in closing provisions which will be validated with the Accounting Manager.
  • Manage bank guarantees and monitor sureties in relation with banking institutions to ensure the reliability of off-balance sheet commitments vis-à-vis the group.
  • Independently complete site and group reports within the allotted deadlines.
  • Be the privileged interlocutor between our clients' accounting department and the company.

Degree/Experience:

Higher education in Accounting.

2 years of experience in accounting.
