Onward Search is seeking a Collections Specialist for a hybrid role in Newark, Delaware, with a leading financial services organization. This full-time position involves managing and recovering delinquent accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The specialist will provide empathetic customer service and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve cases efficiently, contributing to a company known for its commitment to customer care and professional growth.

Must Have

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, initiating contact to negotiate payment solutions.
• Document and maintain all collection activity in compliance with company and federal standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve cases efficiently while providing professional, empathetic support.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to obtain required collection license upon placement.
