Collections Specialist

As a Collections Specialist, you will handle finance-related customer requests and serve as a contact for internal stakeholders like Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and Credit Risk Management. Must Have

• Responsible for managing the automated dunning process.
• Customer communication via phone and email regarding debt collection and complaints.
• Global collection of outstanding receivables.
• Acts as central contact for customers regarding open receivables.
• Coordinates clarification cases with other departments.
• Arranges installment payments and deferrals.
• Decide on dunning and delivery blocks.
• Collaborates with collection agencies.
• Extensive practical experience in receivables management, accounting, or customer service.
• Proficient in using the MS Office suite.
• Fluent German and English skills.
• Demonstrate confidence and a service-oriented approach in conversations and written correspondence.
• Characterized by an organized, structured and very independent way of working.

Good to Have

• Good knowledge of SAP FI (HANA); SAP FSCM experience is a plus.
• Openness and curiosity for new technologies and working with AI.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential

• After completing commercial training, you have gained extensive practical experience in receivables management, accounting, or customer service
• You are proficient in using the MS Office suite
• You will meet the international requirements of your new role through fluent German and English skills
• You demonstrate confidence and a service-oriented approach in conversations and written correspondence.
• You are characterized by an organized, structured and very independent way of working.

Desirable

• Ideally, you have good knowledge of SAP FI (HANA); SAP FSCM experience is a plus
• Openness and curiosity for new technologies and working with AI
