Job Summary
The Communications and Brand Senior Manager leads the development and execution of Philips UK&I’s communication and brand strategy for both external and internal audiences. This role enhances the organization’s visibility, reputation, and employee engagement through impactful campaigns and storytelling, aligning with Philips’ mission to improve healthcare. The manager acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding the UK&I communication strategy and strengthening Philips’ position as a health technology leader.
Must Have
- Lead the execution of communication and brand activities that enhance Philips’ reputation and drive engagement, while measuring performance and continuously optimizing results.
- Translate global and regional communication and brand strategies into locally relevant plans, content, and campaigns that resonate with UK&I audiences.
- Develop and oversee compelling multi-channel content including thought leadership articles, social media, videos, and storytelling materials that reinforce Philips’ purpose and innovation leadership.
- Drive a strong internal communication agenda to inform, engage, and inspire employees, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture and strategic priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure unified messaging and effective leadership communications.
- Build and manage relationships with top-tier UK media, key opinion leaders, and influencers, in close collaboration with regional and global teams.
- Lead local crisis communication responses, ensuring consistent, transparent, and timely communication.
- Monitor industry trends, media performance, and stakeholder sentiment to inform strategy and maintain Philips’ leadership position.
- Manage budgets, agencies, and performance metrics to ensure efficient delivery and accountability.
- Actively contribute to the Europe and International Region communications community by cascading and adapting programs for the UK&I market.
Good to Have
- Significant experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand management, ideally within healthcare, technology, or another regulated industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing integrated communication strategies across internal and external channels.
- Experience managing agencies and advising senior executives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

The role enhances the organization’s visibility, reputation, and employee engagement by delivering impactful campaigns and storytelling that bring to life Philips’ mission to bring better care for more people across the world.
You will act as a trusted advisor to local senior leadership, guiding the UK&I communication strategy in alignment with global frameworks. With expertise in media relations, internal engagement, and brand management, you will promote a positive public image, ensure message consistency, and strengthen Philips’ position as a leader in health technology.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker and hands-on communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, working collaboratively across local, regional, and global teams.
Your role:

You’re right for this role if you have the following:
