Job Summary
Netflix is seeking a creative and self-starting Publicity Coordinator for local films and series in Mumbai, India. This role involves planning and executing innovative publicity campaigns for Indian and global titles, focusing on creative storytelling to drive conversation. The coordinator will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including press, talent, and partners, and coordinate cross-functional activities. Key responsibilities include assisting with campaign materials, press activities, talent travel, and maintaining publicity tools. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PR agency experience and excellent communication skills.
Must Have
- At least 5+ years of previous coordination/project manager experience in a PR agency.
- Help plan and execute innovative publicity campaigns for Netflix’s Indian and Global titles.
- Build and maintain great relationships with internal and external stakeholders including reporters, talent representatives, talent/showrunners, and partners.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (content, production management, marketing, social marketing, events, etc).
- Assist and/or initiate written campaign materials for press and/or talent/creators.
- Coordinate press activities (junket, set visits, press conferences, etc.).
- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline and thrive in high energy, fast-paced environment.
- Be a clear and concise communicator.
Good to Have
- Prior entertainment studio, TV network, or PR agency experience preferred.
- Possess a keen understanding of media and have relationships with press is a plus.

About the Role
We are looking to hire a creative self-starter who loves, lives, and breathes entertainment, to be a Publicity Coordinator for local films and series. Based in India, Mumbai, you will be part of a team of stunning storytellers working on impactful publicity campaigns to drive conversation for upcoming series and film titles. Reporting to a publicity pod leader , the role requires excellent cross-functional relationships, and the ability to build and maintain strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders across talent, showrunners, partners, and the press.
The Role: These tasks can be managed independently or/and in partnership with other publicists in the team.
- Help plan and execute innovative publicity campaigns for Netflix’s Indian titles, as well as support Global titles. Support the team with creating creative single title and multi-title storytelling, and outside-the-box campaigns that spark conversations
- Build and maintain great relationships with internal and external stakeholders including reporters, talent representatives, talent/showrunners, and our partners
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (content, production management, marketing, social marketing, events, etc) across single and multi-title campaign work
- Assist and/or initiate written campaign materials for press and/or talent/creators
- Coordinate press activities (junket, set visits, press conferences, etc.)
- Assist with talent’s travel needs
- Update and maintain various publicity related tools, databases and trackers
- Prepare materials for awards & festival submissions
Qualifications: The successful candidate for this role will likely:
- Have at least 5+ years of previous coordination/project manager experience in a PR agency.
- Prior entertainment studio, TV network, PR or agency experience preferred
- Have experience supporting and/or executing a publicity campaign by working well across disciplines
- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline and thrive in high energy, fast-paced environment
- Possess a keen understanding of media and have relationships with press is a plus
- Be able and willing to operate in a global environment
- Be a clear and concise communicator
