Job Description

As a Compliance Manager Investments at Mercer Deutschland, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance Team, safeguarding Mercer's reputation and advising on regulatory matters. Your responsibilities include participating in business decisions, integrating compliance into daily work, ensuring customer interests are prioritized, and enhancing the compliance culture. You will support the German investment business, working closely with colleagues to advise the team on compliance, industry practices, and regulatory expectations. The role involves ensuring proper fulfillment and implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g., WpHG, MiFID II, MaComp), developing and refining compliance guidelines, and conducting compliance risk analysis and reviews. You will also prepare compliance reports and participate in group-wide projects, offering the opportunity for individual development and training in an international environment.
Must have:
  • Degree in law or business law.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, focusing on investment management or consulting.
  • Creative, process-oriented, and cooperative thinking and action.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English.

In dieser Position bist Du Teil des Legal & Compliance Teams von Mercer Deutschland. Die Compliance-Abteilung schützt Mercers Reputation und berät u.a. in regulatorischen Fragestellungen. Im Vordergrund steht dabei die:

• aktive Teilnahme an Geschäftsentscheidungen zur Förderung der Interessen unserer Kunden

• Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geschäftsbereich Investments, um Compliance zentral in die tägliche Arbeit zu integrieren;

• Sicherstellung, dass die Interessen der Kunden im Mittelpunkt unserer Aktivitäten stehen;

• Kultivierung und Verbesserung der Compliance-Kultur innerhalb von Mercer;

Das macht die Position aus:

  • Ansprechpartner:in zu allen Fragestellungen und Themen im Zusammenhang mit der Investment-Compliance (§34f GewO Lizenz)
  • Sicherstellung der ordnungsgemäßen Erfüllung und Umsetzung regulatorischer Vorgaben (z. B. WpHG, MiFID II, MaComp), insbesondere in Bezug auf Kundenschutz und Reputation
  • Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Compliance Guidelines sowie deren Integration in die Geschäftsprozesse
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von (gruppenweiten) Compliance-Prozessen und Leitlinien, insbesondere den Kundenschutz betreffend
  • Erstellung der Compliance-Risikoanalyse, des Compliance-Reviewplans sowie Durchführung von Kontrollhandlungen
  • Erstellung von Compliance-Berichten u.a. an das Board of Directors
  • Mitarbeit in gruppenweiten Projekten

Das macht Dich aus: 

  • Erfolgreich absolviertes Studium der Rechtswissenschaften oder des Wirtschaftsrechts / Business Law
  • Mindestens 3 bis 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Compliancebereich mit Fokus auf Investment Management oder Beratung
  • Kreatives, prozessuales und kooperatives Denken und Handeln
  • Ausgeprägte Durchsetzungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Verhandlungssicheres Englisch
