Job Description
As the Customer Demand Planner, you will collaborate closely with Philips’ European teams to ensure smooth day-to-day order fulfilment operations.
You will also contribute to enhancing service quality and taking on new challenges alongside our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing short-term demand planning by utilizing and refining basic forecasts, enriching relevant data from sales teams, customers, project managers, procurement/operations, marketing, finance, and related departments.
- Collecting data on progressive inputs/outputs and promotional activities to support continuous improvement processes.
- Analyzing historical sales trends, inventory balances, and demand drivers; preparing detailed forecasts and evaluating forecast accuracy.
- Working closely with stakeholders to propose forecast adjustments and challenge underlying assumptions, supporting all functions in developing and communicating gap reduction strategies.
You will be part of
The Western Europe Personal Health Supply Chain Market team, reporting directly to the Business Leader. You will join a close-knit, dynamic team focused on commercial performance and collaboration, regularly interacting with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and international Philips teams.
What you bring to succeed:
- A degree equivalent to Bac+2/3 in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
- 2 years’ experience in a commercial or supply chain environment.
- Alignment with Philips’ core values: Customer First, Quality & Integrity Always, Team Up to Win, Take Ownership to Deliver Fast, and a continuous drive to improve and inspire.
- Experience in an international setting, within supply chain or planning roles (distribution centers, factories, or retail).
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced planning tools such as SAP and JDA.
- APICS or CPIM certification is a plus.
- Versatility and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in English is required.
