Job Summary

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, seeking an Executive Recruiter for their Global Recruiting team. This role involves full-cycle executive search for VP level and above roles within Tech & Product organizations, including Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, Business Technology, and AI research. The successful candidate will drive hiring strategy, develop candidate relationships, manage offer negotiations, and partner with various internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless hiring process and exceptional candidate experience. This position requires a "creator mindset" and a strong understanding of executive search in the technology industry.

Must Have

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruiting, executive sourcing and research
  • 3+ years of dedicated experience in executive recruiting (in-house or retained search)
  • Expertise in recruiting leaders for various functions within the technology industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • History of collaborating with senior business leaders from top-tier companies
  • Expert in offer development and negotiation
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends, industry news, and tech industry executive moves in the AMER marketplace
  • Extensive sourcing and pipeline building experience
  • Currently residing in commuting distance to San Francisco or Palo Alto offices
  • Able to work in the San Francisco or Palo Alto office a minimum of 3 days a week

Executive Recruiter - Tech & Product Orgs

Requirement: Currently residing in commuting distance to San Francisco or Palo Alto offices.

We are looking for an Executive Recruiter to join our versatile and impactful executive recruiting team within Global Recruiting. In this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate a "creator mindset" and be well-versed in all aspects of executive search including market mapping of external leaders, candidate development & engagement, close partnership with the business and offer strategy and negotiation. The Executive Recruiter will support hiring for VP level and above roles for our Tech & Products organizations. The types of roles could range from Software Engineering to Infrastructure to Product to Business Technology to AI research and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers, Org leaders, Finance, HR Business Partners & COE partners, Legal, Executive Compensation and Mobility to drive the hiring strategy and process.
  • Create search strategies and perform thorough assessments to assess talent. Calibrate candidates with hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Develop trusted relationships with candidates from the initial call in order to craft a winning offer & story
  • Use active listening & learning to form a point of view for an effective offer strategy & negotiation.
  • Conduct research to map target companies to build key relationships with the most qualified executive talent in the industry.
  • Keep an ear to the ground on industry competitive info and use it to effectively partner with your stakeholders
  • Lead update meetings with the business on active searches as well as strategic business reviews as needed
  • Partner with Executive Onboarding where relevant to ensure a seamless transition into Salesforce.
  • Provide exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Able to work in the San Francisco or Palo Alto office a minimum of 3 days a week.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $141,300 - $213,800 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $169,600 - $233,200 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
