Job Summary

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the FBI team in Quantico, VA. The role involves assisting Government Program Managers with budget execution, developing responses to budget actions, creating program spend plans, preparing purchase requests, and monitoring annual budgets. Responsibilities also include tracking expenditures using financial systems, coordinating equipment requests, reconciling invoices, and performing project-related duties like updating schedules and preparing reports. The position requires expertise in procurement and telecom circuit billing.

Must Have

  • Provide direct support to Government Program Managers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) in all aspects of budget execution and program management.
  • Develop responses to budget actions and inquiries.
  • Assist with creating and documenting program spend plans.
  • Prepare purchase requests.
  • Monitor annual program budgets and track/report expenditures using spreadsheets and Government Financial Accounting Management Systems.
  • Coordinate equipment and material requests.
  • Reconcile invoices and submit them to the COR for review, signature, and approval.
  • Perform program-related project duties, including updating project schedules, maintaining the Project Database, and tracking/reporting receipt of equipment purchases.
  • Assist with preparation of the Monthly Status Report (MSR) and other required reports.
  • Prepare budget data responses.
  • Work with TPOCs to submit equipment requests, coordinate with vendors on specifications and pricing, and write technical justifications.
  • Partner with COs and TPOCs throughout the procurement process, from initiation to delivery, including shipping equipment to sites.
  • Provide expertise in telecom circuit billing.
  • Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in project/financial management or related field (with five (5) years of experience in budget and financial management highly preferred) or in lieu of education, seven (7) years of related experience.
