Job Description

1. Perform physico-chemical analyses;

2. Prepare solutions;

3. Maintain the organization of the analytical laboratory;

4. Elaborate and fill internal documents;

5. Operate equipment such as GC, ICP, TGA, DSC, UV-VIS, HPLC;

6. Focus on mass spectrometry analyses.

Qualifications

Education and qualification requirements:

Mandatory:

Higher education in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related fields.

Required technical skills:

Execution of physico-chemical analyses according to established analytical methods, ensuring traceability and reliability of obtained results.

Preparation and standardization of solutions, reagents, and reference standards, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current safety norms.

Maintenance of organization and cleanliness of analytical laboratory work areas, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality and safety requirements.

Elaboration, completion, and control of internal documents, including analytical records, forms, and laboratory notebooks, according to applicable SOPs.

Operation, calibration, and routine maintenance of analytical equipment under GLP guidelines, such as:

  • Gas Chromatographs (GC)
  • Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometers (ICP)
  • Thermogravimetric Analyzers (TGA)
  • Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC)
  • UV-Vis Spectrophotometers
  • High-Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC)
  • Mass Spectrometers (MS)

Experience with development and optimization of analytical methods, forced degradation studies, method validation, and/or stability studies.
