Game Developer (Unreal Engine, C++, Blueprint)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced interactive and immersive experiences using Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging content.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Optimize performance and ensure the stability and efficiency of delivered projects.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable code.
- Stay abreast of the latest Unreal Engine features and industry best practices.
- Implementing and improving core software using Unreal Engine 4/5
- Maintaining and building code using C++ for all assigned work streams
- Collaborating to devise optimal engineering solutions to technical challenges
- Participating in design and code reviews with colleagues
- Strong knowledge of object oriented design
- Strong knowledge of blueprint
- Experience with multiplayer gameplay systems, network replications, core engine; virtual reality technologies is desirable but not mandatory.
- Shipped at least one title/project utilizing Unreal Engine, preferably within a technology role.
Experience of working as a Software Engineer, Unreal Developer, or comparative role.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engines rendering pipeline, physics engine, and plugin system.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
