Job Summary

The General Accountant will be responsible for verifying and recording all accounting transactions, monitoring and reconciling ledgers for revenue, expenses, debts, assets, and inventory. Key duties include preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, analyzing data fluctuations, and handling tax declarations and settlements. The role also involves managing accounts payable/receivable and cash flow, coordinating payment plans, tracking fixed assets and tools, implementing internal controls, and proposing accounting process improvements. The accountant will perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Must Have

  • Verify and record all accounting transactions.
  • Monitor and reconcile ledgers (revenue, expenses, debts, assets, inventory).
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and analyze data.
  • Handle tax declarations and settlements.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow.
  • Track fixed assets and tools.
  • Implement internal controls and propose process improvements.
  • University degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in tax handling and working with tax authorities is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of current accounting regulations & tax laws.
  • Good data analysis and management reporting skills.
  • Accurate, careful, able to withstand deadline pressure.

Good to Have

  • Preferably with Chief Accountant/CPA certificate.
  • Preferably candidates with experience working in automotive/assembly plants.
  • Good communication & remote coordination skills.

Job Requirements

1. Qualifications

  • University degree in: Accounting, Auditing, Finance.
  • Priority given to candidates with Chief Accountant/CPA certificate.

2. Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preference for candidates with experience working in automotive/assembly plants.
  • Experience in tax handling and working with tax authorities is mandatory.
