Job Summary
The HR Operations Specialist will drive scalable HR processes globally, focusing on HR operations, governance, and compliance. This role involves owning and improving HR processes across the employee lifecycle, developing and maintaining HR documentation, coordinating visa/work permits, and supporting HR reporting. The specialist will also develop policies and collaborate on employment law matters to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a positive employee experience during the company's growth.
Must Have
- Own and continuously improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Drive process development and optimization for scalability and efficiency
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to the HR Coordinator
- Develop and maintain HR documentation, process descriptions, and guidelines
- Coordinate visa and work permit processes
- Support HR reporting and deliver data-driven insights
- Develop, maintain and document relevant policies
- Collaborate with the Head of HR and external legal advisors on employment law and compliance
- Solid experience (+4 years) within HR operations, HR administration, or a similar role
- Good understanding of Danish employment law
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

About The Role
As our HR Operations Specialist, you will own and continuously improve our HR operational processes and play a key role in developing, optimizing, and scaling them to support the company’s strategic direction. You will ensure efficiency, compliance, and a great employee experience across the lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include the following within each area:
HR Operations:
- Own and continuously improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding, contracts, documentation)
- Drive process development and optimization to ensure scalability, efficiency, and a great employee experience
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to the HR Coordinator
- Develop and maintain HR documentation, process descriptions, and guidelines
- Coordinate visa and work permit processes
- Support HR reporting and deliver data-driven insights
HR Governance & Compliance:
- Develop, maintain and document relevant policies
- Collaborate closely with the Head of HR and external legal advisors on employment law and compliance-related matters
Job requirements
The ideal candidate
- Solid experience (+4 years) within HR operations, HR administration, or a similar role - ideally in a growing or international organization
- Enjoys taking ownership and driving improvements rather than just maintaining existing processes
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Structured approach and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with processes, systems, and data
- Good understanding of Danish employment law
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, supporting both local and global needs
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed!
