Implementation Consultant

Locations: Windsor, CT | Evansville, IN | Hybrid

As an Implementations Consultant, you will be working with our internal services teams onboarding new clients to SS&C proprietary General Ledger accounting software.  In addition to initial implementation processing the associate will provide ongoing support to the internal teams relating to new or updated application functionality.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Works collaboratively with outsourcing operations and accounting teams for onboarding of new clients to SS&C proprietary general ledger system
• Translate client requirements to technical specifications for business development requests
• Assist in the initial database setup and loading of client conversion data
• Provides support to internal teams for troubleshooting during the onboarding process and post-implementation
• Research issues/errors in General Ledger GUI and/or SQL backend for resolution
• Identify and document enhancements or issue requirements for potential development
• Keep up to date on product development and provide training to operations/accounting teams on updated functionality
• Assist Manager with other projects as required

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or finance
• Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, documentation, organizational and communication skills
• Basic Knowledge/Coursework relating to an accounting and/or Investment
• Accounting principles is preferred
• Prior Insurance STAT reporting experience is highly desirable
• SQL database/query language experience highly desirable
• Position requires high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrate the ability to learn new application functionality and strive to be an expert
