Indus and Data Processing Engineer
Position Summary:
Thales is looking for a Data Processing Engineer who is primarily responsible for deployment of Data Profiles including file treatment that allow personalization of SIM physical / eSIM digital profiles according to Data Processing Requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up the customer requirements in the internal systems for the data processing, to deliver the production data and output files to the customers for all validated sites; it according to the security politics and standards applied.
- Maintain deep understanding of complementary technologies and help the organization leverage as part of their larger technology stack
- Foster collaboration with software product development, architecture, and IT teams to ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and audit-able processes.
- Monitoring health, tuning, and growth of databases
- Provides release management support for databases and related applications
- Interface with engineers, product managers & architecture to understand data needs and help build & migrate data projects into data warehouse
- Support the set-up of roles, schemas, and data pipelines while adhering to security policies and overcoming security restrictions.
- Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments.
Requirements:
- Graduated with a University Engineer Degree of a Computer Science University: Computer Systems Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, IT Administration
- Proven experience in Software and/or Hardware and Systems Engineering
- Update your expertise continuously and design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needs
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in similar position.
- Fluent English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to do their job with care and with high precision.
- Customer oriented, empathy and negotiation skills.
- Problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strengthen expertise in one of the following areas: conception, requirement management, development, test, integration or validation
- Solve complex problems and be plunged into a challenging environment
- Recognised as a team player and enjoy collaborative work
- Resourceful, analytical and structured
- Open-minded and curious
- Quickly understand the system in which you evolve (key stakeholders, interactions, products, environment …)
- Able to adapt and react to change
- You have experience with leading engineering projects or activities
