Internal Audit & Corporate Finance Intern

SS&C is seeking a motivated Internal Audit intern to apply business practices in a fast-paced environment. The intern will assist in report writing, research, and data analysis, gaining valuable experience in accounting or related fields. This role supports the Corporate Finance Department, providing administrative and project assistance to the audit team, including SOX404 projects and audit planning.

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Some internship or professional experience in accounting/audit
• Ability to assist with SOX404 projects
• Ability to assist with audit planning and fieldwork

What You Will Get To Do:

• Provides temporary or seasonal assistance to a department or group within the company to work through a time-bound project or business cycle such as tax season
• Assist on SOX404 projects: updating process descriptions & process walkthroughs, & performing transactional testing
• Assist on audit related projects during audit planning and fieldwork phases of the audit
• Learning Internal Audit-based procedures and assisting Audit Managers with compiling/completing testing documentation and corrective action plan tracking
• Demonstrates acquired knowledge and skills to resolve or recommend solutions for a wide range of tasks or issues

• Some internship or professional experience in accounting/audit

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions.

Salary range for the position: 21.00 USD/hour to 24.00 USD/hour.
