Job Summary
Publicis Media is seeking an International Account Director to drive the growth and media transformation of strategic clients within its international consulting business unit. The role involves defining and managing global media strategies, leading client relationships at a senior level, supervising and developing teams, overseeing operational performance, and identifying commercial growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 360Β° media strategy, data, and digital levers, with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
Must Have
- Define and manage global media strategy (offline, digital, social, data, retail media, OPS)
- Ensure consistency, innovation, and relevance of proposed strategies
- Analyze market, follow trends, identify innovation opportunities
- Challenge internal team recommendations (experts, planners, data, creation)
- Be the primary contact for marketing and C-level executives
- Understand business challenges, anticipate issues, propose proactive vision
- Present roadmaps, annual reviews, and high-level strategies
- Strengthen client satisfaction and build lasting trust
- Manage and support Account Managers, Account Executives, and juniors
- Structure workflows, streamline interactions with internal experts
- Develop strategic skills of teams
- Instill a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Supervise all operational processes for campaigns (production, QA, optimization)
- Monitor performance, analyze KPIs, challenge proposed optimizations
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and relevance of executive reports
- Transform insights into actionable recommendations to improve results
- Identify growth opportunities: upsell, cross-sell, new offers, new markets
- Actively participate in tenders and new business initiatives
- Manage account P&L to optimize operational profitability
- Propose innovative, high-value-added solutions to support client growth
- Detect trends, emerging technologies, and innovative levers
- Support clients in their digital and media transformation projects
- Propose solutions integrating data, AI, automation, or advanced attribution models
- Promote a proactive and visionary approach

Job Description
We are looking for an Account Director to support the growth and media transformation of our strategic clients. You will join our International Consulting BU, at the heart of communication, data, and innovation challenges.
As a true high-level partner, you will be responsible for the strategic vision, operational management, and client relationship at the executive level. You will supervise committed teams and ensure the quality of deliverables, while developing the business performance of your accounts.
Responsibilities
1. 360Β° Media Vision & Strategy
- Define and manage the global media strategy for advertisers: offline, digital, social, data, retail media, OPS, etc.
- Ensure the consistency, innovation, and relevance of the proposed strategies.
- Analyze the market, monitor trends, and identify innovation opportunities.
- Challenge recommendations from internal teams (experts, planners, data, creation).
2. Client Relationship Management
- Be the privileged contact for marketing and C-level executives.
- Understand business challenges, anticipate issues, and propose a proactive vision.
- Present roadmaps, annual reviews, and high-level strategies.
- Strengthen client satisfaction and build a lasting relationship of trust.
3. Team Management & Leadership
- Manage and support Account Managers, Account Executives, and juniors within the scope.
- Structure workflows, streamline interactions with internal experts.
- Develop the strategic skills of the teams.

4. Operational Management & Performance

Qualifications
Bac+4/5, Business or Communication School
Minimum 6 years of experience in a media agency or consulting environment, with strategic account management.
Solid expertise in 360Β° media strategy, data, and digital levers.
Excellent interpersonal skills, political acumen, and natural leadership.
Strong analytical, structuring, and decision-making abilities.
Comfortable managing complex projects simultaneously.
Strong business orientation, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
You have developed a client-centric approach and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
