Job Description
Larian Studios, an award-winning developer of high-quality role-playing games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, is seeking a Junior Sound Designer. This role involves executing the creative sound design vision, supporting junior designers, and communicating with various teams. The ideal candidate will have experience on a AAA title, strong understanding of game audio production, and proficiency in tools like Wwise, contributing to crafting high-calibre games.

Must Have:
- Execute and bring to life the Creative Sound Design Vision of the Audio Director
- Support and train more junior Sound Designers
- Report and support the Audio Producer by estimating tasks and communicating in Jira
- Communicate with Stakeholders, Feature Teams, and the Audio Department
- Report issues and needs to the Technical Audio team
- Full project loop as a Sound Designer on a AAA title
- Strong in delivering a Sound Design Vision
- Strong understanding of the Game Audio pipeline from Asset to Soundscape
- Strong general audio production knowledge
- Proficient knowledge of Foley and Field recordings
- Proficient knowledge of Sound Synthesis
- Proficient knowledge in Library work
- Solid mastering of Wwise
- Professional level of written and spoken English

Responsibilities
- Execute and bring to life the Creative Sound Design Vision of the Audio Director
- Support and train of our more junior Sound Designers
- Report and support the Audio Producer by estimating tasks and working and communicating properly in Jira
- Communicate with Stakeholders, Feature Teams and the rest of the Audio Department
- Report issues and needs to the Technical Audio team
Requirements
- Full project loop as a Sound Designer on a AAA title
- Strong in delivering a Sound Design Vision
- Strong understanding of the Game Audio pipeline from Asset to Soundscape
- Strong general audio production knowledge: how assets are created, mixed and mastered
- Proficient knowledge of Foley and Field recordings
- Proficient knowledge of Sound Synthesis
- Proficient knowledge in Library work.
- Solid mastering of Wwise
- A professional level of written and spoken English*
