The Key Account Director will be responsible for the overall growth of multiple key accounts, including personnel and P&L responsibility. This role involves proactive cold acquisition, developing new market segments, and expanding existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience in international client management, a strong hunter mentality, strategic thinking, and excellent negotiation skills, with a passion for luxury, lifestyle, and innovation.

Must Have

  • Overall responsibility for key account growth with P&L responsibility.
  • Proactive cold acquisition and new market segment development.
  • Strategic existing client management and relationship building.
  • Manage all project activities from briefing to completion.
  • Ensure planned revenue targets and evaluate project success.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and conditions with clients.
  • Plan annual project-related revenues and ensure purchasing efficiency.
  • Analyze market-specific business potentials.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record in international client management with comprehensive budget responsibility.
  • Strong hunter mentality and results-oriented approach.
  • Quick comprehension and audience-appropriate communication.
  • Ability to motivate oneself to peak performance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to present complex concepts at C-level.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and MAC applications (including Keynote).

We are looking for a Key Account Director (all genders) for our office in Berlin immediately – Greta Thaysen and team are looking forward to meeting you!

WHAT YOU DO

  • Overall responsibility for the growth of multiple key accounts with personnel and P&L responsibility in close coordination with the team.
  • In close cooperation with the New Business management, proactive cold acquisition and development of new market segments to continuously fill the pitch pipeline, as well as acquisition of new business areas within the existing customer segment.
  • Strategic existing client management and development, thus ensuring a long-term and stable customer relationship.
  • Responsibility for all activities: from briefing to creation, realization, and project completion.
  • Responsibility for commercial planning and processes: ensuring planned revenue targets, evaluating project success and efficiency through appropriate analyses. Budget and results responsibility, regular forecasting, and profitability plausibility checks.
  • Pricing, contract, and condition negotiation with clients.
  • Annual planning of project-related revenues, as well as quality assurance and ensuring the efficiency of all purchasing services.
  • Analysis of market-specific business potentials and structured realization.

WHO YOU ARE

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record in international client management with comprehensive budget responsibility.
  • You possess a strong hunter mentality, work results-oriented, and view sales as a creative process.
  • Quick comprehension, audience-appropriate communication, and the ability to motivate yourself to peak performance.
  • Strong strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to convincingly present complex concepts and pitches at C-level.
  • Enthusiasm for luxury, lifestyle, innovations, digitalization, and trends.
  • Fluent English and German language skills.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and MAC applications (including Keynote).
