Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Architect to join our team, reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering. This role involves shaping the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for innovative products and exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, enjoys partnering across diverse teams, and is motivated by solving complex challenges with global impact. Responsibilities include establishing architectural principles, creating high-level system designs, building POCs, outlining technical requirements with leadership, mentoring engineering teams, and assessing new tools and platforms.

Must Have

  • Establish architectural principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Create high level system designs and build POCs or early versions of code.
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to outline technical requirements.
  • Work with engineering teams to provide mentorship and technical leadership.
  • Assess new tools, frameworks, and platforms to drive innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years industry experience.
  • Software development experience (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with creating or supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Strong architectural understanding and experience.

Good to Have

  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and ability to build high-performing and secure AI applications.
  • Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with working across global teams and cultures.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish architectural principles, patterns, and best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Create high level system designs and build POCs or early versions of code involving new technologies or patterns.
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to outline technical requirements for large scale projects.
  • Work with engineering teams to provide mentorship and technical leadership.
  • Assess new tools, frameworks, and platforms to drive innovation and improve system efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years industry experience
  • Software development experience. (e.g. Java, Python, C#)
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with infrastructure as code. (e.g. Terraform)
  • Experience with creating or supporting CI/CD pipelines. (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
  • Strong architectural understanding and experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position is located in Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
