Voodoo seeks a Legal Counsel for their Commercial team on a 6-month contract (June/July to November/December 2025). This role involves acting as a business partner to operational teams, handling contractual matters, and protecting company assets. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements (publishing, marketing, user acquisition, monetization, services, partnerships). The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in business law, fluency in English and French, and a collaborative, creative, and positive attitude. The role is heavily focused on working with operational teams and will require independent judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.

We're looking for 6-month position as Legal Counsel in the Legal - Commercial Department at Voodoo, running from June/July to November/December 2025.
Team
Our Legal teams support the company’s performance and growth whilst putting people at the core of everything they do. As a French tech leader and global successful company, our Legal teams are constantly looking for ways to innovate and increase organization efficiency to keep Voodoo ahead of the market. Voodoo’s Corporate function is composed of five teams: HR, Talent acquisition, Legal, M&A and Finance, working together to drive Voodoo’s success.
You will be part of a whip-smart group of in-house lawyers and the projects and cases you take on challenge you to think big and differently. You will be part of a collaborative team that is ready to partner in initiatives that influence all aspects of the business and willing to go the extra mile.
Role
As Legal Counsel in the Commercial team, your role entails acting as a business partner with/for the operation teams to fulfill their business and legal needs by handling contractual matters, and to bolster the company’s asset-protection strategy. Various subjects will be handled such as drafting, negotiating and/or reviewing a variety of commercial agreements for the publishing, marketing, and gaming teams, including publishing agreements, user acquisition and monetization agreements, service agreements, and partnership deals.
You will be a key member of the legal team working hand in hand with the operational teams in a very integrated manner. You will be the privileged point of contact for any commercial need.
Profile
- 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in business law
- Fluency in English and French required
