As a Manager, Corporate Strategy at Philips, you will be instrumental in guiding executive decisions and influencing the company's direction. Must Have

  • Own and drive strategic project workstreams, delivering high-quality, evidence-based business analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct high quality, meaningful, evidence-based business analyses, identifying emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Build and communicate actionable strategy recommendations, and present them to senior management.
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise/business strategic direction.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Strategy department, enhancing team effectiveness, processes, and overall impact.
  • 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years with a Master's in Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Growth Strategy, International Business or equivalent.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s (required) / Master’s in Business, Economics, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven affinity with healthcare, technology and informatics.
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal) with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.

As a Manager, Corporate Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping key decisions made by the Philips Executive Committee and senior leadership. You’ll work closely with Philips’ Businesses, Markets, and cross-functional teams on high-impact, executive-mandated projects. As part of a central strategy team, you will drive deep business insights, deliver actionable strategic recommendations, and provide thought leadership that influences the direction of the company.

Your projects range from global projects at Philips level to high-impact strategic questions within specific Business Units or markets to enabling / orchestrating strategy planning and execution processes across Philips.

Your role:

  • Own and drive strategic project workstreams, delivering high-quality, evidence-based business analyses and actionable recommendations that influence executive decision-making. Conduct high quality, meaningful, evidence-based business analyses, while identifying emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Build and communicate actionable strategy recommendations, as well as contribute to the formulation of actionable strategy recommendations and work with and present recommendations to audiences of senior management.
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the alignment of initiatives with the overall enterprise / business strategic direction. As well as, contribute to the continuous improvement of the Strategy department, enhancing team effectiveness, processes, and overall impact across the organization.

You are the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree—or 2+ years with a Master's— in areas such as Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Growth Strategy, International Business or equivalent.
  • Your skills include strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data to support strategic decision making.
  • You have a Bachelor’s (required) / Master’s in Business, Economics, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven affinity with healthcare, technology and informatics.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're a strong communicator (both written and verbal) with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Proven experience with international businesses environments and/or in global markets is preferred and the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics is a plus. The ability to travel up to 25% required.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $100,000 to $158,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
