The role involves controlling narratives, neutralizing negative publicity, and transforming controversies into positive momentum, particularly for products like CSGORoll and HypeDrop. The strategist will be responsible for rapid response during high-noise events, building key relationships, and developing consistent internal messaging frameworks to align the company's public image.

Must Have

  • Previous experience as a Journalist or PR professional
  • Strong understanding of media narratives, sourcing, and evidence
  • Proficiency in online culture, virality, and misinterpretation

We’re looking for a Media and Comms Strategist who can control narratives, neutralise attacks and turn controversy into momentum. You’ll own our public reputation across X/Twitter, Reddit, YouTube and media, shaping how the world sees us, especially when things get loud.

You will be working on:

CSGORoll - the world’s #1 skin gaming site. A community social gaming platform specifically designed for CS2 players, featuring unique in-house custom-built games, such as Roulette, Crash, Unboxing and PVP.

HypeDrop - a leading gamified shopping platform, where over 500,000 users experience the excitement of real-time mystery box openings, box battles and customizable deals. Since 2018, HypeDrop has sold over 150 million boxes, revolutionizing the way people shop and win.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the company’s public narrative across X/Twitter, Reddit, YouTube and media.
  • Respond fast during high noise moments and keep the messaging rock solid.
  • Build relationships with creators, journalists and people who actually move conversations.
  • Create internal messaging frameworks that keep everyone aligned.
  • Flip controversies into opportunities to show transparency, leadership or just well timed humor.
  • Communicate with confidence and charisma, people should want to listen.

Job requirements

Who you are:

  • Must have previous experience as a Journalist, PR or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, evidence and how narratives form in the media.
  • You get online culture, virality and how quickly people misinterpret things.
  • A clear communicator, direct, human, not corporate robot speak.
  • Able to be charming, confident, and likable when the moment calls for it.
  • A strong understanding of community driven marketing, especially around gaming communities, creators and user behaviour.
