Metallurgy Intern - Summer 2026

Join WSP as a Metallurgy Intern for Summer 2026 in Montreal, Lévis, or Quebec City. You will contribute to mining and industrial projects, working with multidisciplinary experts. Responsibilities include developing material balances, flow diagrams, and P&ID for metallurgical processes, participating in equipment sizing, defining and supervising lab tests, preparing technical documents, and assisting project managers. Must Have

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent training)
• Knowledge of process design principles and laboratory testing methods
• Develop material balances, flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams for metallurgical processes
• Participate in the sizing and selection of process equipment
• Define and supervise laboratory testing programs, analyze results, and contribute to technical recommendations
• Prepare and verify tender documents, specifications, and other technical documents
• Assist the project manager and contribute to project success

Good to Have

• Strong interest in mining and industrial projects and willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Bilingualism (French/English)
