Job Summary
At WSP, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Structural Area team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the structural design and technical analysis of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with current regulations and quality standards, contributing to the development of safe and efficient solutions. Responsibilities include basic structural analysis, design support for underground structures, review of plans and models, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Must Have
- Professional degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures.
- Less than 3 years of experience in infrastructure projects, especially in stations and underground structures.
- Participation in civil, industrial, or railway projects.
- Proficiency in current structural regulations (Chilean and international standards).
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret plans, perform calculations, and model structures.

About this opportunity:
At WSP, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Structural Area team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the structural design and technical analysis of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with current regulations and quality standards, contributing to the development of safe and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
Structural design and analysis:
- Perform basic structural analysis for projects in the area.
- Support the structural design of stations and underground structures.
Review and documentation:
- Review plans, quantity take-offs, and structural models.
- Prepare calculation reports and technical documentation in accordance with regulations.
Regulatory compliance:
- Ensure the application of Chilean and international standards in projects.
- Participate in civil, industrial, or railway projects, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Collaboration and coordination:
- Work as a team with other disciplines for correct design integration.
- Report progress and contribute to the solution of technical problems.
Requirements:
- Education: Professional degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures.
- Experience: Less than 3 years in infrastructure projects, especially in stations and underground structures.
- Participation in civil, industrial, or railway projects.
Technical competencies:
- Proficiency in current structural regulations (Chilean standards and international standards).
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret plans, perform calculations, and model structures.
