Job Description

The Monetization Program Manager is a strategic individual contributor role responsible for shaping and executing SailPoint’s monetization strategy across its product portfolio. The role focuses on supporting NPI and packaging initiatives in partnership with Product Marketing (PMM), Product Management, and Corporate Strategy, ensuring stakeholders are informed early in the product development cycle. The position requires strong program management skills, business acumen, and a solid understanding of SaaS business models and cost structures. The ideal candidate thrives on cross-functional collaboration, analytics, and turning data into actionable insights that improve product profitability and strategic decision-making.

Must Have:
  • Support Pricing Strategy and Product Management teams in defining pricing and packaging strategies from early concept through rollout.
  • Engage with Product Managers early in the product development lifecycle to define monetization strategies and ensure packaging considerations are built into planning well before launch.
  • Coordinate with Product, PMM, and Corporate Strategy to gather key inputs, including COGS assumptions, market research, and competitive pricing benchmarks, to inform monetization decisions.
  • Develop frameworks, tools, and review cadences that improve visibility and alignment around cost insights across Product, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Support business case development for new products or major features, translating cost and market insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a cross-functional program lead for monetization initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment across Product, Engineering, PMM, and Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS program management, consulting, finance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, monetization frameworks, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs and influence without authority.
  • Hands-on expertise in financial modelling, data analysis, and market research.
  • Experience building frameworks or tools that improve pricing and packaging decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to distil complex inputs into clear recommendations for executives and stakeholders.
  • BA/BS in business, finance, or technical field required.

Requirements

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$141,400 - $202,000 - $262,600

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
