Your focus will be on designing and testing network infrastructure, pushing service providers to configure systems and ensuring seamless network performance without direct management of the devices.  You will be making an impact as you help shape the future of our network infrastructure, all while enjoying a relaxed, fun, and supportive work environment!


Your responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure solutions, focusing on firewalls, switches, and other network components.
  • Test and validate network configurations, ensuring they meet security and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with service providers to push for optimal configurations and adjustments.
  • Develop strategies to enhance network reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring rapid resolution within SLAs.
  • Document network designs and maintain updated records of configurations and changes.


What you bring to the team:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing network infrastructures, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, VPNs and security best practices.
  • Experience in working with network monitoring tools and performing network analysis.
  • Experience with or familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively or independently as needed.
  • A proactive, self-driven attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • The ability to influence service providers to implement required configurations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours or out-of-hours as necessary.


Bonus points if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • You have experience with network automation tools or scripting (Python, Bash).
