Join ByteDance's Pico team as a Wireless System Engineer/Architect, designing and implementing wireless systems for XR products. You'll evaluate wireless technologies, influence product definition, and drive silicon design. Experience in wireless system design and familiarity with RFIC/Modem silicon are essential.

Now we are looking for experts in image pipeline to join us to build our AR/VR imaging team. Responsibilities: Evaluate/Characterize power and performance of various wireless technologies including but not limited to WiFi, BLE, Baseband, etc. Explore new wireless technologies and collaborate with x-function team to influence product definition. Define the requirement and drive the roadmap of next generation wireless system requirement for XR products. Drive silicon design team/vendors to customize wireless system features.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent fields. Experience in wireless system design and familiar with methodologies/tools to evaluate wireless system performance and power. Familiar with RFIC, Modem silicon, key building blocks and design trade-off . Proven understanding of state of art wireless technologies and familiar with networking protocols and standards. Open minded, enthusiastic about new technologies with excellent communication and written skills. Preferred Qualification: Familiar with RFIC/Modem circuit design. Experience of delivering new wireless architectures to the market. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $410000 annually.​
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
