Job Description

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Pixel Camera team in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The role involves collecting and analyzing Camera Apps data for power, performance, and memory optimization. Responsibilities include developing automation for testing and verification of optimizations and API compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the Camera Apps experience is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess experience in software development (C++ or C preferred), data structures, algorithms, and Unix/Linux platforms (including Android). A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years software development experience
  • Experience with data structures/algorithms
  • Collect and analyze Camera Apps data
  • Develop automation for testing and verification
Good to have:
  • Master's/PhD in Computer Science
  • Unix/Linux (Android) experience
  • C++ or C experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux platforms, including Android.
  • Experience in C++ OR C.
