Job Description

As an Office Manager at GamePoint, you will be the backbone of our head office in The Hague. You will ensure everything in the office is perfectly organized, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With your sharp organizational skills, proactive attitude, and calmness under pressure, you will keep operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities include managing supplies, scheduling, and organizing travel, allowing the team to excel and grow daily. A valid EU residence permit and living in the Netherlands are mandatory.
Must have:
  • Handle phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing packages and mail.
  • Provide secretarial support: prepare meeting rooms, print, scan, manage general email.
  • Support and coordinate the restaurant for daily healthy lunches.
  • Purchase and manage office supplies and merchandise.
  • Maintain office condition and arrange necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with HR to update and maintain office policy.
  • Arrange travel needs: book flights, transport, hotels.
  • Minimum one year experience in hospitality or as an office manager.
  • Native Dutch speaker.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess an EU residence permit and live in the Netherlands.

As an Office Manager, you are the backbone of our head office. You ensure that everything in the office is perfectly organized and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. With your sharp organizational skills, proactive attitude, and calmness under pressure, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. Whether it's inventory management, agenda planning, or organizing travel: you work efficiently, maintain an overview, and effortlessly switch between priorities. Thanks to your efforts, our team can excel and grow every day.

Please note: EU residence permit and living in the Netherlands are mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing packages and (regular) mail;
  • Secretarial support: preparing meeting rooms, printing & scanning, managing general email inbox;
  • Supporting and coordinating the restaurant: ensuring employees enjoy a healthy and tasty lunch daily;
  • Purchasing and managing office supplies such as office supplies and merchandise;
  • Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging necessary repairs;
  • Collaborating with HR to update and maintain office policy if necessary;
  • Arranging travel needs: booking flights, transport, hotels, etc.

Who you are:

  • You are a helpful and social person who gets energy from working with people;
  • You have at least one year of experience in hospitality or as an office manager;
  • You are service-oriented and always willing to go the extra mile;
  • You proactively identify what needs to be done and act accordingly;
  • You smoothly switch between priorities while maintaining an overview;
  • You have strong communication skills;
  • You work in a structured way and have an eye for detail;
  • Dutch is your native language.
  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

Plus:

Professional cooking or kitchen experience is a plus.
