Job Description

The Performance Director leads SEM & Social teams to deliver performance marketing strategies for clients. This role requires strong leadership, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends. The ideal candidate manages teams, develops innovative campaigns, and drives business growth through data-driven insights.
Must Have:
  • Lead and mentor the performance team to develop and execute performance marketing strategies across multiple channels, including search engine marketing, social media advertising, email marketing, and more.
  • Collaborate with client partners to understand business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop customized solutions to drive ROI.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring timely communication and reporting on campaign performance, budget management, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and implement agency processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, quality control, and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, incorporating new ideas and approaches to continuously improve team performance.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and optimize existing workflows to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments within the agency to align efforts and leverage resources effectively.
  • Experience in performance marketing, preferably in an agency role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and growing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong, up to date, media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trends and forecast challenges/opportunities for clients).
  • Google Analytics experience (GA4).
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, SA360, Performance Max (PMAX), Demand Gen, Bing Ads, Meta, and other major platforms.
