Job Description

The Platform Quality role at Valeo involves deploying and monitoring the Platform Quality Mission and Strategy across all Platform activities. This includes setting quality objectives, tracking KPIs, ensuring process conformity, and representing Quality in governance committees. The role also defines and improves Platform quality standards, implements QRQC, and ensures technological roadmaps incorporate customer feedback and non-quality data. It also involves managing quality budgets and training P1 QPTMs.

Must Have:

Deploy Platform Quality Mission and Strategy
Set and monitor Platform quality objectives and KPIs
Control conformity with Platform development process
Represent Quality in Platform governance committees
Manage Platform Quality Engineers
Define, maintain, and improve Platform quality standards
Ensure Lessons Learned Cards are integrated into standards
Define and drive QRQC implementation within Platform
Ensure Platform Development Policy is respected
Integrate Customer Line Incidents, Warranty, and Direct Cost of Non Quality data into technological roadmap
Define and monitor quality budget for the Platform
Define and drive action plans for operational Platform KPIs
Establish quality budget for Platform related projects
Train P1 QPTMs to Platform Quality Standards

Platform Quality Mission

Deploy the Platform Quality Mission and Strategy to all Platform activities
Set the quality objectives for the Platform and monitor the Platform KPIs related to Quality
Control and monitor the conformity with the Platform development process
Represent Quality in the Platform governance committees
Manage the Platform Quality Engineers of the Platform, ensure that their competences are at the right level

Platform (Quality) Standards

Define, maintain and continuously improve Platform quality standards taking into account all Platform related LLCs (act as a Standard Owner as per the RAISE process)
Ensure that all relevant Lessons Learned Cards are taken into account for the update of Platform standards
Define and drive the implementation of QRQC within the Platform

Platform Projects

Ensure that the Platform Development Policy is respected
Ensure that the Platforms technological roadmap takes into account Customer Line Incidents, Warranty and Direct Cost of Non Quality data. Coordinate the collection of such data for the definition of future variants or generations of products to be developed
Define and monitor quality budget for the Platform (control equipment, hours, ...)
Define and drive the action plans to achieve the targets for the operational Platform KPIs related to Quality (Platform WR3MIS, WR cost as per CAA, P1 projects with no critical DV/PV failure, …)

Platform interaction with P1 Projects

Establish the quality budget needed to perform the Quality Road Map for Platform related projects (baseline for P1 QRMs).
Train P1 QPTMs to Platform Quality Standards
