Electronic Arts is seeking a Playtest Product Owner [Quality Designer] for its Battlefield QV team in Montreal. This role involves planning and executing internal playtests to provide insights for Battlefield game development. Responsibilities include collaborating with designers and producers, managing playtest schedules, troubleshooting technical issues, creating new processes, and sharing knowledge across EA's Quality Verification teams. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant game development experience, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for first-person shooter games.

We are looking for a Playtest Product Owner [Quality Designer] who is passionate about learning and understanding complex systems. Our mission is building a better game through objective analysis, and you will be challenged with scheduling and operating internal playtests to produce insights for the Battlefield team. You will report directly to the Playtest Manager in the Experiential Quality group of Battlefield Quality Verification.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with designers, producers, and other Quality Verification team members to plan and track playtesting coverage and activities.

  • You will maintain the weekly schedule for a playtest team.

  • You will configure playtests and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • You will create new processes and introduce them to the playtest team.

  • You will share knowledge with your peers in Quality Verification across EA.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in game development.

  • Experience collaborating across departments and locations.

  • A passion for first person shooter games.
