Job Summary

Philips Pensions-Service eG in Hamburg is looking for a full-time Portfolio Manager for Capital Investments. The role involves managing investment portfolios for Philips Pension Fund and Philips Pension Treuhand e.V., actively shaping investment strategies, implementing projects in liquid capital markets, and ensuring optimal liquidity planning. The manager will also be involved in selecting and evaluating new investments and asset managers, monitoring external asset managers, creating investment reports, and analyzing financial market trends.

Must Have

  • Take responsibility for investment portfolios of Philips Pension Fund and Philips Pension Treuhand e.V.
  • Actively shape investment strategies and implement projects in liquid capital markets.
  • Ensure optimal liquidity planning and management.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of new capital investments and asset managers.
  • Continuously monitor external asset managers.
  • Create meaningful reports on investments and apply analytical skills.
  • Engage in a strong network with business partners and maintain close contacts with trading counterparties, custodians/KVGs, and asset managers.
  • Analyze current financial market trends and evaluate investment products.
  • Good financial mathematical understanding.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Profound knowledge in Microsoft Office products.
  • Very good English skills.

Good to Have

  • Additional knowledge in real estate/real estate funds or private markets (e.g., infrastructure).
  • Experience in handling price and information systems like Bloomberg.

Job Description

The Company

Philips Pensions-Service eG, based in Hamburg, bundles the company pension schemes of Philips GmbH and other participating companies. The services particularly concern the Philips Pension Fund (VVaG), the direct commitments of Philips GmbH, and the Philips Pension Treuhand e.V.

The portfolio management team, in close coordination with the board, independently manages the development and implementation of the strategy for capital investments totaling approximately 1.5 billion Euros. This significantly contributes to a solid and future-proof positioning of the institutions. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Portfolio Manager Capital Investments (m/f/d) in full-time, starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

  • You take responsibility for the investment portfolios of the Philips Pension Fund and the Philips Pension Treuhand e.V. in a small, dynamic team.
  • You actively shape investment strategies and implement exciting projects, especially in the area of liquid capital investments in international financial markets.
  • You ensure that our liquidity is always optimally planned and managed.
  • You are involved in the selection and evaluation of new capital investments and asset managers – your opinion counts!
  • A significant part of your task is also the ongoing monitoring of our external asset managers.
  • You create meaningful reports on our investments and actively contribute your analytical skills.
  • You engage in a strong network with our business partners and maintain close contacts with trading counterparties, custodians/KVGs, and asset managers.
  • You analyze current trends in financial markets and evaluate investment products – always at the pulse of time.

What you bring

  • Several years of professional experience in the securities sector
  • Ideally, additional knowledge in real estate/real estate funds or private markets (e.g., infrastructure)
  • Good financial mathematical understanding
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Profound knowledge in the application of Microsoft Office products
  • Very good English skills
  • Experience in handling price and information systems like Bloomberg is an advantage
