Pre Sales Engineer (M/F)

As a Pre-Sales Engineer for the Cyber Security Products (CSP) Business Line, you will support sales teams in presenting and demonstrating Thales application security solutions. Your role involves analyzing client technical needs, designing suitable architectures, providing pre-sales technical support, and managing product evaluations. You will also collaborate with partners, prepare technical offers, lead workshops, and monitor competitive and technological developments to support portfolio growth.

Must Have

• Accompany sales teams in presenting and demonstrating Thales application security solutions.
• Analyze client technical needs and design adapted architectures.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and manage product evaluations.
• Collaborate with partners and distributors to strengthen their skills and develop sales.
• Prepare technical offers (RFI/RFP) and contribute to commercial strategies.
• Lead workshops, webinars, and technical presentations to clients and partners.
• Perform competitive and technological watch to support France portfolio growth.
• Solid experience (8+ years) in pre-sales or cybersecurity solutions engineering.
• Experience in application security, web development (ASP, .NET, Python, NodeJS).
• Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of network protocols, cryptography, SSL/TLS, API, DNS.
• Fluent English.

Your profile

You have an engineering degree or a Bac+5 in IT/security or equivalent and have solid experience of more than 8 years in:

• Pre-sales or cybersecurity solutions engineering,
• Application security, web development (ASP, .NET, Python, NodeJS),
• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Kubernetes),
• Network protocols, cryptography, SSL/TLS, API, DNS

Fluent English is essential for this position
