The Product Manager will collaborate with creative and technical leaders to develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps for children's games, including subscription models. This role requires data analysis to optimize user experience and business objectives while prioritizing a player-first approach. Key responsibilities include product vision development, data analysis to identify trends, roadmap creation, collaboration with teams, gathering player feedback, A/B testing, performance monitoring, and communication of product plans.
Must have:
  • Extensive prior experience in product management in Kids' Games.
  • Worked on Kids games that have a subscription-based platform.
  • 6+ years of product management experience for kid's games.
  • Ability to synthesize insights from analysis and research.

Product Manager- Kids Games and Subscriptions

At Red Games Co. the  Product Manager will work in close partnership with our studio’s creative leadership and technical leadership to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps driving toward maximum performance in areas of a game including subscriptions. The Product Manager must use data and analysis to help drive all key decisions to optimize the experience and business goals. The “magic recipe” is to achieve business objectives while prioritizing a player-first approach and maintaining alignment with Red Games Co. core values and mission. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with game leadership to develop product vision and strategy: Help define the long-term vision and product strategy for the game, including feature development, monetization strategies, and user experience improvements. 
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze player data to identify trends, and opportunities for improvement, using this information to inform product decisions on subscription-based products.
  • Roadmap Development: Working in a team environment to help create the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on feedback, other business needs, and creative/ technical feasibility. 
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work side by side with the game’s creative and development team, marketing, analytics, and other stakeholders to contribute to the smooth execution of the product strategy. 
  • Player Feedback Collection: Gather player feedback through surveys, focus groups, and in-game analytics to understand player needs and concerns. 
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Designing and conducting A/B testing to validate product ideas and optimize features for maximum player engagement. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Maintain alignment with the game leadership and, when necessary, participate in communicating product plans and updates to internal teams and external stakeholders. 

Requirements

  • Extensive prior experience in product management, with a strong track record of achieving targeted business goals in Kids' Games.
  • Must have worked on Kids games that have a subscription-based platform.
  • 6+ years of experience in product management for relevant and successful kid's games.
  • Ability to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research to diagnose root causes of problems and inform future initiatives. 
  • Strong communication and influence skills, able to work well with others.  
  • Strong execution skills with a bias to action and track record in improving key KPI’s.
  • Passion and deep understanding of Kids games and an understanding of industry trends.
