Job Description

Insomniac Games' Production team delivers AAA games on time, on budget, and at Game of the Year quality. This internship offers hands-on experience in AAA game development, working directly with producers and project managers. As a Project Management Intern, you will support the Production team by tracking progress, coordinating milestones, and improving workflows, gaining insight into scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and project delivery within a major game studio.

  • Identify and address inefficiencies in processes, tools, and collaboration; escalate issues when necessary.
  • Update project roadmaps and communicate changes in alignment with mid- and senior-level project managers.
  • Current enrollment in an accredited university Bachelor’s program in game development, production, project management, or a related field.
  • Graduation expected between May 2025 and Spring 2027.
  • Cover letter is required.
  • Able to work during May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th.
  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States and not require work visa sponsorship.

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with AAA game development, working directly with producers and project managers to learn how large-scale creative projects come to life.

About the Role

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the Production team in tracking progress, coordinating milestones, and improving workflows. You’ll learn how production teams operate within a major game studio, gaining insight into scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and project delivery.

This role is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving, teamwork, and learning how creative and technical teams work together to ship world-class games.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze task assignments to ensure work is achievable within established milestones
  • Review task progress and remaining work to help keep milestones on schedule
  • Collaborate with people managers to ensure team members are engaged and aligned with project tracking
  • Identify and address inefficiencies in processes, tools, and collaboration; escalate issues when necessary based on urgency and complexity
  • Update project roadmaps and communicate changes in alignment with mid- and senior-level project managers

Eligibility

  • Students with expected graduation between May 2025 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Undergraduate
  • Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
