Job Summary
Arηs Group, part of Accenture, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex public sector IT projects. This role involves managing all project aspects from planning, resources, budget, and risks, to engaging with senior stakeholders globally. The Project Manager will also be responsible for team leadership, performance monitoring, and ensuring quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle, aligning solutions with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Must Have
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and engagement (planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, issues).
- Manage day-to-day project activities and resources.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsors globally.
- Demonstrate functional acumen to support solutions addressing project goals.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Set and manage project expectations, delegating and managing deliverables with team members.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and oversee the work of project team.
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
- University degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Professional qualification or foundation certification in project management methodologies (PMI, Prince 2, Agile SCRUM).
- At least five years of recent professional experience in program/project planning, management, and successful delivery of complex cross-functional or interdependent projects.
- Experience collaborating with teams in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation.
- Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated organization.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Project.
- Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
Good to Have
- Extensive experience working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings.
- Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations.
- Experience with professional business services such as consulting.

Job Description
1. Project Management: Develop and manage all aspects of project and engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues. Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources. Chair the project management team meetings. Procure and secure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and communicating across leadership.
2. Business and Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsors and focal points across the Organization globally and providing them with updates. Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address the Organization’s project goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
3. Team Management including Performance: Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Coach, mentor, motivate, and oversee the work of project team. Monitor the performance of project staff.
4. Quality Control and Assurance: Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution. Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- University degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Professional qualification or foundation certification in project management methodologies such as PMI, Prince 2, Agile SCRUM
- At least five (5) years of recent professional experience in program / project planning, management and successful delivery of complex cross functional or interdependent projects, some of which should be at the global or international level.
- Experience in collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results.
- Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation.
- Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Project
- Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
Desirable
- Extensive experience in working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings.
