Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing air surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.
The position is based in Limours (site 40 min from Paris, 20 min from Massy and accessible via our network of free shuttles from Massy, Pont de Sèvres, Vélizy, Versailles, Saint Quentin en Yvelines).
Our Surface Radar Domain (SRA) designs, develops, and supplies a range of surface radar products that is the most comprehensive on the market. It meets the needs for sky and sensitive area surveillance, in both civil and military domains (coastal surveillance, battlefield, and counter-battery...).
You will join the MFR sector, which manages the development and production of Thales's new generation of S-band multifunction radars for land and naval applications.
Within the project management department of the MFR sector, you will take responsibility for a project to instantiate one of our radars within a complex system for an export end-client.
As part of your mission, you will:
Is your priority to contribute to the rapidly growing service activities in the Surface Radar and Systems domains?
With a generalist/technical engineering background, do you have more than 10 years of experience during which you have managed complex projects in an export client context?
Do you have experience in managing complex projects in the development phase and in the defense sector, if possible in France?
Do you possess a real spirit of analysis and synthesis and a proven taste for teamwork?
Do you demonstrate autonomy, creativity, negotiation skills, a client-oriented approach, and are you driven by a results culture?
English proficiency is essential.
