Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of Web based & standalone applications
• Communicate with local and remote team members, appropriate stakeholders and customers as needed
• Work on large scale software systems

Qualifications/Experience:

• 2-3 Years of functional testing experience
• Testers mindset!
• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering fields
• Knowledge of testing web based applications is desired
• Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage
• Knowledge of testing, SDLC, Bug reporting, Bug lifecycle etc would be desired
• Good communication skills
• Testing certifications if any would be an advantage (ISTQB, QAI etc.)
• Ability to investigate and find root cause of problem
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good academic record
• Customer Support experience/exposure is an added advantage
• Knowledge & experience of Automation testing is an added advantage
• Exposure to DevOps would be an added advantage
• Key contributor in a global, multi-cultural distributed testing and quality engineering team
• Technical skills in Software development processes, testing methodologies
• Experience of using the products as a user
  • Functionality / technical design & related industry business processes and complement it with relevant use cases, test scenarios definition/creation.
• Knowledge of usability testing, PCS, Security, Mobile/Web, …
• Technical Automation experience
• Deep interest in software testing and quality
