Job Summary
The Regional Channel Sales Manager (RCSM) is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives within assigned regions, representing the full range of company products and services. This role involves prospecting and developing new customer relationships, coordinating company resources to meet channel performance, and driving adoption of company programs. The RCSM will also collaborate on go-to-market strategies and participate in tradeshows, operating as an independent territory leader.
Must Have
- Prospect, qualify and develop new customer relationships
- Coordinate company personnel to meet channel performance objectives
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
- Drive adoption of company programs
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering Leadership to Identify, build, and execute go-to-market programs and solutions
- Participation in regional and national tradeshows
- 5+ years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business technology/physical security sales environment
- Proven track-record of Territory Management, Prospecting skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Industry (Product) knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for sales and Self-starter attitude
- Proficient knowledge of security and/or building automation products
- Effective understanding and experience with the corporate culture, environment, and decision processes
- Effective understanding of the A & E culture and environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independent hunter and entrepreneur background

Job Description
The RCSM is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives and represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers within their regions. The RCSM report to the National Sales Manager, however we are looking for independent territory leaders who are self-managing.
The RCSM will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Prospect, qualify and develop new customer relationships both within partner and end-user communities
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including sales, support, service, training, and management resources, in order to meet channel performance objectives and customer expectations
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned region
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned region customers
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering Leadership to Identify, build, and execute go-to-market programs and solutions to meet the customer needs within region and vertical markets
- Participation in regional and national tradeshows
- Seeking candidates based in the assigned territory
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Seeking 5+ years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business technology/physical security sales environment with a track record of success
- Proven track-record of Territory Management, Prospecting skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Industry (Product) knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for sales and Self-starter attitude
- Proficient knowledge of security and/or building automation products
- Prior experience with selling enterprise solutions is a plus
- Effective understanding and experience with the corporate culture, environment, and decision processes

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD
