Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Release Coordinator to oversee and facilitate our software release process, from planning to deployment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and timely delivery of high-quality software products while coordinating with various teams.

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining release schedules and plans

- Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to manage release cycles

- Support build and deployment processes

- Help identify and mitigate release-related risks and issues

- Ensure adherence to release management policies and procedures

- Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders regarding releases

- Track and report on release progress and metrics

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in software development or IT operations

- 1-2 years of experience in release coordination or similar role

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication abilities

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)

- Familiarity with IT service management concepts
