Job Summary
The RSE & Data Consultant will work on a project to improve purchasing data readability and performance. Key responsibilities include RSE evaluations, coaching suppliers on frameworks like Ecovadis and CDP, and advanced environmental and purchasing data analysis using Excel and potentially Power BI. The role also involves operational project management, coordination with purchasing and sustainable development teams, and proposing improvements for supplier RSE processes. This position requires strong RSE/environmental experience, advanced data skills, and effective communication.
Must Have
- Coach suppliers on Ecovadis, CDP, or similar frameworks
- Consolidate and clean environmental and purchasing data
- Produce advanced Excel analyses (pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate with purchasing and sustainable development teams
- Fluent English
- At least 2-5 years of experience in RSE, Sustainable Sourcing, data analysis
Good to Have
- Comfort with Power BI
- Experience in supplier support or RSE audits
- Knowledge of Ecovadis (highly appreciated)
- Knowledge of CDP (appreciated)

Job Description
As part of a structuring project aimed at improving the readability and performance of purchasing data, we are looking for a consultant capable of combining:
- a real RSE / environmental experience,
- an advanced data proficiency (Excel),
- and an ability to coach suppliers in improving their practices.
You will work within the purchasing department on topics combining RSE evaluations, supplier support, and environmental data analysis.
Your missions
1. RSE evaluations & supplier coaching
- Support suppliers in their Ecovadis, CDP, or similar framework approaches
- Explain, clarify and structure questionnaire expectations
- Identify weaknesses in suppliers' RSE management systems
- Propose realistic improvement plans
- Monitor the evolution of scores and action plans
2. RSE / Purchasing data analysis
- Consolidation and cleaning of environmental and purchasing data
- Production of analyses using advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex functions, data crunching)
- Construction of simple monitoring tools and dashboards (Excel or Power BI)
- Detection of inconsistencies, alerts, recommendations
3. Operational project management
- Steering several subjects simultaneously
- Coordination with purchasing and sustainable development teams
- Prioritization and progress monitoring
- Autonomous information gathering from relevant stakeholders
- Proactive proposals on structuring supplier RSE processes
Qualifications
RSE & environmental skills (essential)
- Confirmed experience in RSE, sustainable development, ideally related to purchasing.
- Knowledge of supplier evaluation frameworks:
- ✔ Ecovadis (highly appreciated)
- ✔ CDP (appreciated)
- ✔ ISO 14001 / 26000 or equivalents
Data skills
- Very good Excel level mandatory (advanced pivot tables, complex formulas, data structuring and manipulation).
- Comfort with Power BI is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluent English mandatory.
Soft skills & posture
- Be a good communicator, with an ability to coach, explain, popularize...
Experience
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in RSE, Sustainable Sourcing, data analysis.
- Experience in supplier support or RSE audits
Contract:
- Freelance, Fixed-term contract or Umbrella company employment
