We are seeking an individual to join our Revenue Accounting Team, reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This role will manage end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely customer billing and providing clean data for revenue recognition processes. Initially, you’ll support the implementation of our new billing system and Q2C project while maintaining the current billing system, before transitioning to full ownership of ongoing billing operations. You'll work closely with our Revenue Accounting Manager and Director of Revenue Accounting to optimize billing processes and support the broader finance function.
As the individual in this role, you will be responsible for maintaining billing accuracy and efficiency across our customer base while supporting critical system implementations. You are detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about creating streamlined billing operations that enhance both internal processes and customer experience.

They should be comfortable managing complex billing scenarios and working with multiple stakeholders to resolve billing issues quickly and effectively. In your role, you'll...
- Own end-to-end billing operations including invoice generation, billing schedules, and customer billing inquiries
- Manage complex SaaS billing scenarios including usage-based billing, multi-year contracts, contract amendments, proration calculations, and billing adjustments
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, billing controls, and process documentation
- Ensure billing data accuracy and completeness for downstream revenue accounting processes
- Handle billing dispute resolution and work with Customer Success on billing-related customer issues
- Process billing credits and support collections team as appropriate
- Support billing system implementation by providing billing expertise, process requirements, and testing support
- Partner with Revenue Accounting team to support month-end close processes
- Assist with external audits by providing billing documentation and process walkthroughs
About you
- 4-6 years of experience in billing operations, with at least 2 years in SaaS or subscription-based businesses
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

- Solid understanding of SaaS business models, subscription billing, and revenue recognition basics
- Strong experience with billing systems implementation
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with usage-based or consumption billing models
- Background in high-growth SaaS environments
- Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
- Previous experience supporting external financial audits
Benefits
- The expected salary range for this role is between $111,000 - $140,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
