Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Director of People Business Partnerships to serve as the strategic partner to one of our senior executives and their global organization. You will help shape the future of our workforce, spanning multiple countries, cultures, and functions. You'll provide executive level counsel, drive scalable global people programs, and lead organizational transformation initiatives that help the business to deliver at scale. This role involves translating business goals into people strategies, coaching senior leaders, facilitating talent reviews, and leading People Experience initiatives globally.
Must Have:
  • Be a trusted advisor to the executive and their leadership teams, translating business goals into people strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional People Experience Centers of Excellence to provide integrated solutions.
  • Coach and develop senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and talent management capabilities.
  • Facilitate leadership team effectiveness sessions, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of People Experience initiatives within the executive's organization.
  • Drive workforce and organizational design planning aligned with our strategy.
  • Lead change management efforts for operational transformations, process optimization, and global scale.
  • Partner with the executive and People Leadership Team to support new market entry, acquisitions, and integrations.
  • Provide organizational readiness assessments and workforce transition planning.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations team to manage complex organizational issues.
  • Partner on proactive strategies to strengthen culture, morale, and engagement across a global workforce.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior business partner role supporting global executives in a Technology or Gaming environment.
  • Expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, and executive coaching.
  • Experience supporting global workforces, with demonstrated knowledge of international HR practices and employment landscapes.
  • Experience with driving organizational change and transformation in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Influencing and relationship building skills, with the ability to engage at the C-Suite level.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, prioritizing, and delivering solutions that balance business needs with employee experience.
  • Experience partnering with executives in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Director of People Business Partnerships to serve as the strategic partner to one of our senior executives and their global organization. You will help shape the future of our workforce, spanning multiple countries, cultures, and functions. You'll provide executive level counsel, drive scalable global people programs, and lead organizational transformation initiatives that help the business to deliver at scale.

Reporting to the VP of People Business Partnerships, and as a senior member of our People Business Partner team, you'll combine strategic foresight with hands-on partnership, ensuring our people strategy supports both the executive's business priorities and our long-term growth. This is a visible role with direct influence on executive decision-making, global expansion, and organizational design.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to the executive and their leadership teams, translating business goals into people strategies that promote performance, growth, and innovation.
  • Partner with cross-functional People Experience Centers of Excellence to provide integrated solutions across Talent Attraction, DEIB, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and Workplace Experience.
  • Coach and develop senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, decision-making, and talent management capabilities.
  • Facilitate leadership team effectiveness sessions, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of People Experience initiatives within the executive's organization (performance management, engagement, talent planning), ensuring global consistency with local adaptability.
  • Provide feedback and insights to refine programs based on operational business needs.
  • Drive workforce and organizational design planning aligned with our strategy.
  • Lead change management efforts for operational transformations, process optimization, and global scale.
  • Partner with the executive and People Leadership Team to support new market entry, acquisitions, and integrations.
  • Provide organizational readiness assessments and workforce transition planning.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations team to manage complex organizational issues, ensuring fair, and risk-mitigated outcomes.
  • Partner on proactive strategies to strengthen culture, morale, and engagement across a global workforce.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
